Daddy Ogden’s Lemon Souffle Pancakes
June 3rd, 2009 § 11 Comments
With one Ogden’s upcoming SoBe venture in the dog house, here’s a recipe from the patriarch that’s controversy-free and a sure thing for your tummy. Holler if you want the recipe, and I’ll scan and post it from Mom’s old school Bradley Ogden’s Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner cookbook (or you can get the book from Amazon for a well worth it $24.75.) We first had the lemon souffle pancakes at least 15 years ago, and they’ve been a family favorite ever since. It was after a trip to Ogden’s former San Fran restaurant at the Campton Place Hotel when I was a wee 13. I think we had some blueberry yogurt pancakes that were to die for. We were hooked on anything Ogden in the morning. Mom whips them up ever now and then… These were for Memorial Day brunch since my brother’s girlfriend was visiting. Maybe you’ll do the same for Father’s Day or the 4th, because they look rather patriotic with powdered sugar and berries, dontcha think? Here’s to what’s old being a yummy kind of new.

I would love the recipe please for the lemon souffle pancakes! Please email it to me at labloomie@aol.com
I had these years ago and have been looking for a great recipe…
